It’s tough to keep up in the world of social media. As soon as you learn to use one feature, a new trend or tool comes in and makes you start all over again.
In March 2018, Instagram issued a press release announcing an update to “give you more control over your feed and ensure the posts you see are timely.”
Does this mean the chronological feed is back? Not exactly.
According to Instagram, the 2018 algorithm update means “newer posts are more likely to appear first in the feed.”
